Your grocery ledger is private to your account unless you choose a household scope. While signed in, open Privacy & Data Controls to disable new grocery tracking, export your data, correct the allowed household-size field, or delete your account. Receipt images are processed transiently and are not stored. CartCycle does not retain OCR text or extraction confidence scores. After you review a receipt draft, the app retains only the extracted fields needed for your ledger, such as the date, store, item names, normalized item names, quantities, prices, categories, and review flags.

Only records with a household scope are shared with active members of that household. They can see shared grocery records, plans, planning snapshots, and receipt-derived rows, including details such as store, date, amount, item information, notes, and the creating member. Account-scoped records stay private to the account.

No. Paid CartCycle Plus is a $9.99/month subscription. Beta or founding-benefit access is separate, eligibility-based, and requires approval; it is not automatic and does not have the same billing terms as paid Plus.

Not today. CartCycle does not connect to retailer accounts, import retailer carts, or automate checkout. Any future retailer connection would be an explicit privacy choice, not a background connection.

No. A reviewed plan only records your chosen items, store, fulfillment type, and schedule in CartCycle. It never places an order or charges a retailer, so you remain responsible for completing the purchase yourself.
